So I finished the Book of Leviticus last night as I tour the Old Testament for Passover. Man, there are a lot of rules in Leviticus for behavior that really shouldn't occur to anyone. For example, sexual relations with one's mother in law, bestiality and child sacrifice must have been rather problematic back in the day since they required holy legislation. Weird. As usual, above is some content inspired by my reading.

ReplyDeleteThat's a great question. I was thinking that someone dropped their AR15 several years ago when people began shooting the place up over the last bottle of cheese wiz. I figured the rusted remnants of the rifle could yield, say, parts worth 10 gp in value if a gunsmith were to get his hands on it.
DeleteI had this idea that the degenerate mutants never use firearms, so they ignore them. I have not come up with a justification for this yet. I was thinking that certain aspects of working a firearm may require manual dexterity that they do not possess or it's part of their curse.

DeleteI would like to request a Deep Thoughts with Christian as you read through the Bible, c especially the Old Testament with all the weird rules. As they say in the army, "We wouldn't need a rule...if someone had not got caught doing it." Makes you wonder what those old clucks were up to back then.
