Legends of Gath #20; Happiness is a Belt-fed Weapon

If I recall correctly, Sister Meredith and Turtleneck Joe are neighbors. They form the nucleus of a stable community, a beacon in the wilderness.

I have no idea if light machine guns like the SAW are mounted on vehicles in the real world. To me nothing says fun like tearing around Gath in a Toyota Tundra while the gunner standing in the bed stacks mutants. Braaaap! Braaap!

  1. In Iraq they had a plethora of small Toyota trucks with every imaginable heavy weapon mounted in the back. SAWs, .50cal, just about anything they could find. So, yes, this completely reasonable.

I would love to meet Sister Meredith, she sounds like a stern, southern, old grandma!

    1. That's a great question! I know that Stuart Robertson's character was partial to Coolio's "Fantastic Voyage." :)

    2. Haha nice!

I think sister Meredith would probably have to listen to something that would be a typical for her, maybe some Black Sabbath? or that might be a little bit too much on the nose. Maybe something truly horrible, like Yes.

    3. That game was so much fun! I think my character and his NPCs hommies are still rolling through the wastelands of Gath in their tracked vehicle eating snacks, tossing grenades, and listening to Cypress Hill. :)

    1. I'm not even sure how a turtleneck would be comfy in the desert for much of the year, but Joe makes it work. :)
