Legends of Gath #32: First Floor: Men's Clothing, Housewares and Bathroom Hanging

Depression Era unemployment reigns, but I feel a bit isolated in my grave concern over the economy and the ripple effects of all of this. I guess I should not be surprised that I feel out of step. I like to draw pictures of bomb shelters and write about an Old Testament apocalypse set in the American Southwest. Maybe I should just relax. Poppy, who was sent by the Internet to watch over Gath, says, "I believe that everything's okay."

PS: If you can plug it in somewhere, PCs can use the hair dryer and wear the RayBan's to add +2 to Cha. If you have to carve your way through a mad wilderness, you might as well look good doing so.

  3. This place moans with misery. The smell of pain saturates its walls. This wine I offer Great Imbiber is for the poor and pathetic souls that suffer within. Give me the power to put them to rest. To quiet them. To let them sleep.

A glow forms around the tankard as the last of the wine drips in. From inside there is noise. Objects move. The door opens and out pours the restless souls. They approach and I close my eyes.

Peace to you my brothers. Drink the wine from Great Imbiber and know his mercy. Know his forgiveness.

The skeletons stop as the wine drains from the tankard and the glow intensifies. One by one, the skeletons touched by the glow quietly crumble to the ground.
