I really like how the culture of the drooling degenerates of Gath is slowly revealed through this series of encounters! This is a much better way to present setting to players in an RPG, rather than heavy blocks of text for the DM to read and then forget about while actually running the game.
I really appreciate you saying that. I was thinking the EXACT same thing. I started doing these one page vignettes because I got so tired of trying to wade through so much verbage.
PS: I kind of like the idea of the mutants leaving Levi alone because he plays Sonny and Cher for them. I figure that even they would recognize the value of non-violence if something enjoyable was the result. :)
I'm going to make a Gath catchphrase drinking game.
ReplyDeleteThese are dark times here in quarantine land.
It feels like it's never going to end, but booze! Booze will make it a little easier. Especially that freaky Gath booze.

DeleteLet's hope Levi is smart enough not to play "Panic" by The Smiths for the mutants. Who knows what ideas it might give them!
