If I recall correctly, Sister Meredith and Turtleneck Joe are neighbors. They form the nucleus of a stable community, a beacon in the wilderness.
I have no idea if light machine guns like the SAW are mounted on vehicles in the real world. To me nothing says fun like tearing around Gath in a Toyota Tundra while the gunner standing in the bed stacks mutants. Braaaap! Braaap!

In Iraq they had a plethora of small Toyota trucks with every imaginable heavy weapon mounted in the back. SAWs, .50cal, just about anything they could find. So, yes, this completely reasonable.
ReplyDeleteI would love to meet Sister Meredith, she sounds like a stern, southern, old grandma!
I think her biscuits and gravy would be fantastic!
DeleteWhat jams does Sister Meredith listen to on the Toyota's CD player??
ReplyDeleteThat's a great question! I know that Stuart Robertson's character was partial to Coolio's "Fantastic Voyage." :)
DeleteBeautiful.

Haha nice!
DeleteI think sister Meredith would probably have to listen to something that would be a typical for her, maybe some Black Sabbath? or that might be a little bit too much on the nose. Maybe something truly horrible, like Yes.
That game was so much fun! I think my character and his NPCs hommies are still rolling through the wastelands of Gath in their tracked vehicle eating snacks, tossing grenades, and listening to Cypress Hill. :)

Turtleneck Joe. What a name!
ReplyDeleteI'm not even sure how a turtleneck would be comfy in the desert for much of the year, but Joe makes it work. :)
DeleteHahahahahaha. You made me honest laugh when I read, but Joe makes it work.
