Morning Coffee Map

Someone feels that they have been wronged, so they travel to a hidden shrine to pray to a deity of vengeance. Being capricious, the deity may exact vengeance on behalf of the petitioner. Then again, he may inflict the desired punishment on the person who has been been wronged instead of the wrong-doer. The deity likes to remind people that revenge is a dangerous, unpredictable beast.

Temple of Vengeance
Aspects: Dark and deep; Revenge comes at a cost

  1. Happy Halloween to you also Christian! muhaha...

Map looks cool. I want to steal the boat and then a statue.

  2. I've been thinking about small maps like this, "bolt-hole dungeons" if you will. They could very easily be used as part of a sandbox, either as random encounters or as smaller set encounter areas. They could also be used as part of a larger complex of such bolt-hole dungeons.

    1. I always liked the idea of multiple, tiny dungeons in close proximity - not unlike the barrows from LotR.

    2. And separate ones are rather like the Atlantean Tomb that Conan falls into in Conan the Barbarian.
