Giant Rat

Dire Rat, Common, no. 30 of 72, Giants of Legend

“Why should I be afraid of the sewers? There’s nothing down there but rats.”
     Ernst Mayr, deceased

A giant rat is substantially larger than its other rodent. Aggressive and cunning, giant rats have been known to hunt in packs of 5-10 (1d6+4) to overcome much larger foes. Giant rats grow to three feet in length (six feet if the tail is measured) and spread a disease called “Filth Fever” through their bite.

    1. No need to worry, Miss Ceballos. I believe these critters exist outside our timeline.

    3. You will need to use puppets and very small words, Human Unit Reed. This one is not so bright.

  2. Hmmm...the nausea pistol would not cut it with these critters. I would definitely have to requisition a flamethrower.

    1. If you were bitten by the rats and you contracted Filth Fever, that would be your second disease. I am referring, of course, to your social disease. *snicker*

    2. I'm going to feed both of you to the rats, THEN use the flamethrower.

  5. Those are mean looking giant rats, but I liked the mini of the dead body, or 'flat guy' the best. I could use dozens of minis like that.

    1. That fig is called the "inhabited corpse" or something. I love it as a casualty marker, but the darn thing is, like, $4 or so. They quickly add up. I wish they were just a buck or two.
